Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our expanding Thames regional office. The role is split between site and office and provides avariety of day-to-day duties and responsibilities. The areas covered under our Southern region include: Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, & Essex.

Project Engineers play a key role in the successful running of our operations. Working closely with site teams and management, you will help coordinate works on site, ensure projects run efficiently, and support the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

_{‍Role and Responsibilities:}

• _{Completing Site Inspections with the adopting authority}
• _{Compiling reports for approval}
• _{Seeking quotations from sub-contractors}
• _{Studying specialist drainage survey footage}
• _{Compiling & submitting required adoption documentation}
• _{Liaising & managing sub-contractors to complete works}
• _{On site supervision of Stage 3 site works}
• _{Implementing comprehensive resident liaison program}
• _{Obtaining on site `sign off` of the works from the LA / WC inspector}
• _{Chasing adoption certification from the various authorities}
• _{Proving informal updates to progress and relaying any on site issues to the operations manager}

• _{The office is an open plan environment}
• _{Company office hours are 8.30 am until 5.00 pm (4:30pm on Fridays)}

_{Person Requirements:}

• _{House Building Industry knowledge}
• _{Background and understanding of basic Civil Engineering principles}
• _{Working knowledge of Section 38 and 278 Highway Act and Section 104 Water Industry Act Agreements}
• _{AutoCAD Skills (Preferred but not essential)}
• _{Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel}
• _{Ability to manage and deliver completion of projects on time and in budget}

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: From £27,500 a year
