Full job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, people-focused individual to help shape and strengthen our existing HR and People culture.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and wellbeing of our teams while overseeing core HR functions such as recruitment, retention, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Human Resources and People Management, along with a relevant qualification (CIPD or equivalent).

Our office is an open-plan environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork. Standard hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an early finish at 4:30 pm on Fridays. There is a requirement to travel for business to our other offices which could include non-standard working hours.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate recruitment across the business including drafting and posting job adverts, managing applications, and shortlisting candidates
  • Schedule and support the coordination of staff appraisals and performance reviews
  • Implement and support training initiatives across all offices
  • Manage onboarding process for new employees
  • Ensure compliance with current employment legislation, company policies, and best practices
  • Review and enhance the existing employee rewards and benefits package
  • Oversee the company’s apprenticeship programme, including liaising with education and training providers
  • Provide guidance and support on HR case management, including disciplinary and performance-related matters
  • Maintain up-to-date HR documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure organisation-wide compliance
  • Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings with staff to support engagement, wellbeing, and development.
