JLES provided Hambleton District Council with a lump sum, fixed fee Post Build Adoption Package to undertake required final surfacing and associated, necessary works including resolution of attenuation pond ‘Right to Discharge’ legal issue to allow the multi-phase legacy industrial estate to be adopted. The entire carriageway and pedestrian footways surface course was planed and re-laid. JLES completed required LA liaison to ensure all remedial works were done to development specifications.
JLES negotiated a reduced maintenance period and for the link cycle path to be omitted from any form of remediation if the works identified were undertaken within 3 months. The total works duration was 11 weeks and included extensive ongoing resident and commercial liaison. The relating S38 bond was reduced by North Yorkshire County Council within 3 weeks of completion.
