Finance Assistant Apprentice (AAT Level 4)
Start date: 01 August 2022 | Salary: £15,000.00
Job Title: Finance Assistant Apprentice
Location: Astley, Manchester
 
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company who specialise in new build infrastructure across the whole of the UK. JLES Group are looking for a motivated individual to join their expanding finance team based at their offices in Astley, Manchester.

Main responsibilities:
     
  • • To provide a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service
  • • All written communication to be clear and concise.
  • • To ensure any request concerning a work-related matter is undertaken within the agreed timeframe
  • • Work within an established team of finance professionals.
  • • To be a positive influence on other members of the finance team.

We have a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join our expanding Central regional office. The role is split between site and the office and provides varied day to day duties and responsibilities.

• Managing Apprentices and Engineers
• Surveying
• Review/production of CAD drawings
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ability to manage and deliver the completion of projects on time and within budgets
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations
• Compiling & submitting required adoption documentation

• The office is an open plan environment, secure parking on site
• Company core office hours are 8.30 am until 5.00 pm (4:30pm on Fridays)

Assistant Project Engineer (Civil Engineer) Apprentice

Job Title: Assistant Project Engineer

What will the apprentice be doing?

JLES are an Engineering company that specialises in making road and sewers to public and private sector clients across the UK. The staff benefits include private healthcare, company trips abroad such as Ibiza, Portugal and Prague, free Friday food and discounted gym membership. Part of the role will be split between site and office work which will include assisting the Project Engineering team in reporting to clients, assisting with key projects issues, managing consultants and contractors, conducting site inspections and requesting quotations from sub-contractors.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? You will gain the following qualifications: - Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required) You will also study a range of topics, including: construction and the built environment, further mathematics in construction, science and materials, construction technology and design, surveying in construction and civil engineering and structural analysis and design.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship? Over 75% of JLES' workforces started as apprentices within the business. Two of their Divisional Directors started as apprentices with JLES, showing the clear progression throughout the company.
